Colin Cowherd Explains How the Cowboys Can Survive Without Dak Prescott

Colin Cowherd: “With that same injury old Drew Brees was out five weeks. If you remember, the Saints went 5-0 with Teddy Bridegwater… If you look at the schedule, they’re going to get their ears boxed in by the Bengals but then they get the Giants and Washington, and Dak could be back by the Rams [Week 5] or Eagles [Week 6] game, you’re fine. ‘THE SKY IS FALLING!’ I got news for you – Dallas’ sky wasn’t very high to begin with, there’s not much of a fall. This was a football team that got worse everywhere; at weapons, o-line, pass rush, coach… There is no reason to panic, you’re not getting Garoppolo, I said it yesterday. Whenever I heard 6-8 weeks with a pro athlete, to me it’s 5-6 weeks, sometimes sooner. Dak is a big, strong, young guy, he’s going to heal really quickly, it’s all going to be okay.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t think the Cowboys are dead in the NFC East just yet, with the news that Dak Prescott will miss at least a month of action from a thumb injury he suffered in Dallas’ blowout loss to the Bucs.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why he doesn’t think Prescott’s injury really changes the fate of Dallas much anyway, saying it was always going to take a mediocre record to win the NFC East.
