The U.S. Coast Guard is sharing details about a rescue on the water in Palm Beach County.
Seven people were picked up from a fishing boat that was taking on water near Peanut Island.
Lake Worth Inlet crews rescued the fishermen after the captain grounded the 61-foot sport fishing boat to prevent further flooding.
In a post on Facebook, U.S. Coast Guard Southeast noted that yesterday's rescue is a "testament to the importance of having proper communication devices and staying calm."
