Thanksgiving 2025 Store Hours: What’s Open And Closed State Wide

FLORIDA - Many Americans are preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday while also checking which stores will be open for last minute supplies.

Most national chains will close for the day, but several grocery stores, restaurants, and retailers plan to operate with limited or modified hours.

Major grocery chains such as Aldi, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Costco, Publix, Sam’s Club, Target, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and Winn Dixie will be closed on Thanksgiving.

A handful will stay open, including 7 Eleven and Dollar General, though hours vary by location.

The Fresh Market will open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sprouts Farmers Market from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Whole Foods will run on adjusted schedules.

Wawa stores will remain open.

Several restaurant chains will also close for the holiday, including Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Chick fil A, Chili’s, Chipotle, Del Taco, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, and The Cheesecake Factory.

Restaurants remaining open include Bob Evans from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Cracker Barrel from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., along with Krispy Kreme, Waffle House, and Wendy’s depending on location.

Most large retailers will shut down, including Apple, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillard’s, GameStop, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Macy’s, Michaels, Petco, PetSmart, REI, Target, T.J. Maxx, Ulta Beauty, and Victoria’s Secret.

Stores operating on Thanksgiving include Big Lots from 7 a.m. to midnight, Dollar General from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and Bass Pro Shops from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid will close their pharmacy locations for the holiday.

Busch Gardens will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and most Florida State Parks will remain open with regular hours.
