Miami-Dade's mayor presents her proposed 13-billion-dollar budget for the next Fiscal Year with the county 402 million in the hole. Daniella Levine Cava says they have five new constitutional offices on top of state and federal cuts with increased costs. Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez calls the proposal an irresponsible disappointment. He is calling for a zero-based line-item budget with a third-party audit to stop the waste. Reportedly on the chopping block---the "New Americans" office for immigrants, 37 Parks jobs and the office of Neighborhood Safety. The new budget will take effect during the next Fiscal Year October First.
