The mother of a 17-year-old stabbed to death in a random kitchen knife attack at the Icon apartment in Brickell is suing for wrongful death, negligent security and pain and suffering. Christine Maron- says her son Dominic will never be forgotten. Surveillance video shows the suspect, 26-year-old Kyrill Kehl, loitering in the lobby before getting onto the elevator with residents, knocking on multiple doors, and eventually walking into the unlocked unit where Ferrell was sleeping with his dad. Kehl fled the scene and was later found dead at a nearby construction site.
