Drunk felon arrested for bringing shotgun into restaurant's restroom

Fort Myers Beach, FL - A convicted felon has been arrested for bringing a 12 gauge shotgun into a Southwest Florida restaurant last week.

According to police, the felon, identified as Sean Mynch, caused a stir at Bonita Bill’s Restaurant on Fort Myers Beach on Saturday.

Mynch was carrying a black Mossbery 12 gauge shotgun when he walked into the restaurant and headed straight for the restroom.

The staff immediately noticed Mynch and contacted authorities, while an employee took possession of the weapon and secured it.

When deputies arrived, they found Mynch to be heavily intoxicated and slurring his words.

Police say Mynch never pointed the gun at anyone, nor did he make any threats during the incident.
