A Florida acupuncturist is facing charges after he was caught secretly recording female patients as they undressed.
Dr. Rene Michael Ng, an acupuncturist at Chinese Medical Solutions, was previously arrested in January for allegedly recording a female patient.
Ng is now facing eight additional charges after he was caught using a pen with a hidden camera to film women without their knowledge.
According to investigators, Ng would only record “attractive” female patients, typically blonde women younger than 50.
Ng allegedly instructed patients to get undressed, then placed the pen in a coffee cup filled with cotton balls to prop it up, before leaving the room.
Once the women undressed, Ng would return to the room and put the pen in his pocket. In his arrest affidavit, Ng is accused of treating the more attractive patients favorably and was “aggressive” to get them on the schedule.
A search by authorities uncovered two USB iSpy Pen Pro HD devices.
Investigators searched the devices and found six videos and three still images of women undressing without their knowledge.
All of the victims are adults.
