Lightning Drop Second Game of Back-to-Back to Blue Jackets

The Tampa Bay Lightning (1-3-2) fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets (2-3-0) 3-2 on Saturday night in Columbus. It was the second loss in as many nights after falling to Detroit 2-1 in overtime on Friday night in Detroit.

The Lightning got goals from Ryan McDonagh and Anthony Cirelli in the first to take a 2-1 lead. After the Blue Jackets tied the game in the second, Kirill Marchenko scored at the 1:15 mark in the third period to take the lead which would prove to be the game winner for Columbus.

The Lightning finished 1-1-2 on their four game road trip, earning three points. They are now off until Thursday when they return home to host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Puck drop Thursday is scheduled for 6:45 PM from Amalie Arena.
