A Palm Beach County woman who pleaded guilty to murdering the wife of the man she later married is out of prison.

61-year old Sheila Keen-Warren was released on Saturday, 18 months after pleading guilty to second degree murder. She shot Marlene Warren to death back in 1990 after showing up at the woman's door in Wellington, dressed as a clown.

Keen-Warren accepted a plea deal shortly before her trial was due to start. She was sentenced to 12 years in prison, but had been in custody for seven years since her arrest in 2017, and Florida’s law in 1990 allowed significant credit for good behavior.

It had been expected she would be released in about two years.
